About Our Basic High Tunnel Kit
The best DIY project for your backyard greenhouse to commercial sized growing operations. This offers freedom to make your kit the way you want to, adding in your own doorways, wall fronts and fans. Or cut the cost and have a simple greenhouse to grow with the basic elements for extending your growing season.
What’s Included
Two layers of 6 Mil poly plastic (4 year) with inflation kit for additional insulation.
One layer of regular 6 Mil poly plastic outer layer and one layer of Infrared /Anti-condensation (IRAC) 6 Mil inner layer.
Roll-up sides with hand crank adjustment gearbox
Strong steel frame 2” (13 ga) with cross bracing.
Instructions to build your high tunnel
Doors, baseboards, fans, curtain lock and hard polycarbonate panel are not included in this kit.
Installation is not included in this kit.
Hand crank gearbox to adjust roll up sides. This allows you to adjust your airflow in the high tunnel with ease and no electricity.
Two layers of 6 Mil plastic with protection from infrared and anti-condensation properties.
Walls are set to a 3 feet in ground depth with a 6 feet height on the wall sides and 12 feet on the peak.
13 ga. steel (16 ga steel on 34’ widths) frame supports strong winds and snow loads. Posts are spaced every four feet to provide the most support.
Baseboards pictured not included in this kit.
